I’m captivated by reddit’s r/Popular tab because it’s an obviously curated list of artificially boosted posts that editors want users to see. The tab provides a glimpse into the marketing and social engineering efforts that have been intensifying since anons started flooding reddit in 2013.

Here are some of the trends.

The vaccines are causing irregular menstrual issues. How will reddit deal with this? By reframing the issue in terms of the cultural war, that is, as a byproduct of doctors privileging “Caucasian males” and ignoring women’s health.
