Netflix Action ROUNDUP
Black CIA Man has six ways from Sunday to get you, so be good for goodness sake!
After reading what follows, you might conclude that I’ve deliberately chosen the films reviewed here and in the previous roundup to supplement my sociological surveys. I can assure you that isn’t the case. I selected the two films under review by first searching for “Netflix action new releases” on Yandex and then picking one domestic and one foreign release. The only other part of my formula was drinking half a liter of potato vodka while reviewing the films on my phone notepad.
Last week we learned from Netflix science fiction films about how both deontological and utilitarian ethics require the placement of Black lives above all other goals and moral imperatives. Today we’re going to learn about how the world is controlled by an omniscient and omnipotent CIA led by exceptional Black men and women.
I know this might seem absurd. Is Netflix really telling us that the impoverished Black man excluded from our societal community, persecuted by local but not federal law enforcement, and denied basic civil rights – for instance by receiving an eleven-game suspension and securing a quarter of a billion dollars (guaranteed) for being accused of sexual assault by 22 women -- is simultaneously the head of an omnipotent global shadow organization tasked with enforcing the global law? Let’s take a look.
